The Honeywell R7848A1008 Flame Amplifier is recommended for cycled heating equipment and is compatible with the C7015 Lead Sulfide Sensor. Designed for use with the 7800 Series Primary Safety Control, it is Green in color, and the Flame Signal Strength ranges from 0.0 to 5.0 Vdc. These solid-state plug-in amplifiers promptly respond to flame detector inputs, indicating the presence of flame when utilized with Honeywell 7800 SERIES relay modules. Featuring a flame failure response time of 2.0 or 3.0 seconds, they offer flame signal test jacks for measuring amplifier flame signal voltage. The amplifiers plug into the 7800 relay module through a printed circuit board edge connector, keyed for proper orientation. Color-coded labels distinctly identify the flame detection type. The Dynamic Self-Check Amplifier tests detectors and all electronic components in the 7800 SERIES relay module, initiating a safety shutdown in case of flame detection system failure.

This amplifier is compatible with existing Honeywell flame detectors, which need to be ordered separately.
