The Honeywell RM7897A2002 On-Off Primary Burner Control, an Automatic Primary Control with Programmable Post Purge, suits single burner applications with gas, oil, or combination fuel. Operating at 120Vac within a -40-140 degree ambient temperature range, it offers selectable recycle or lockout on airflow or flame loss, and features a Shutter Drive Output (RM7897A1002). To program post-purge, a S7800A1142 Display is required.
This control surpasses conventional ones, ensuring safety and advanced functionality. For optimal use, pair with subbases Q7800A2005/U, Q7800B2003/U, Q7800B2011/U. Functions include automatic sequencing, flame supervision, status indication, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. External electrical voltage checks are accessible, enhancing application flexibility and communication interface capability.
Five LEDs provide sequence information, and a Run/Test switch offers five functions. It supports interchangeable plug-in flame amplifiers and enables local or remote annunciation of RM7840 operation and fault information (optional). The programmable post-purge is achievable through the S7800A1142 Keyboard Display (not provided). Nonvolatile memory retains history files and lockout status post-power loss, compatible with existing Honeywell flame detectors.
